OPAC20/20 SPECIFICATIONS


The OPAC20/20 meets all current and proposed EPA Design and Performance specifications in 40 CFR 60, appendix b, performance specification 1. Manufacturers' certificate of conformance (MCOC) included.

Light source: green light emitting diode             

Accuracy: +/- 0.5 % opacity

Response time: < 3 seconds                                     

Angle of projection: less than 3 degrees

Angle of view: less than 3 degrees                           

Resolution: 0.1 % opacity

Alignment sensitivity: +/- 0.35 degrees for 2% error

Spectral response: 99% of energy between 500nm and 600nm

Alignment verification: direct view port and electronic (electronic alignment tracking is continuous and will output an alarm when alignment drift exceeds 4% opacity.)

Calibration: automatic ( hourly, non-interfering), output to recording device 1 to 24 hours selectable

24 hour drift:

Zero calibration drift: less than 0.5 %                       

Span calibration drift: less than 0.5 %

Calibration correction: automatic, recorded, displayable with alarm

Path length correction factor: automatic, user displayed, adjustable

External calibration: included (external zero jig and two neutral density filters)

Stack communications: RS- 422 digital link, impervious to ambient electrical noise.

Outputs: Two or Four linear analog outputs, two RS - 232 digital output, all outputs field selectable. Eight spdt alarm contact relays, all field selectable

Ranges: Fully field selectable, opacity, transmittance, optical density, calibration data, dirty window compensation.

Weather enclosure mounting: customer supplied 4 inch 150 pound flange (adapters are available to mount to existing 6 inch 150 pound flanges)
