Company Profile
Phoenix Instruments, Inc. was formed in 1989, by a group of former Dynatron Inc., Engineering, Service, and Production staff. The start-up mission was to provide users of Continuous Opacity Monitoring (COMS) and Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEM) equipment with economical, high-quality maintenance, repair, calibration, and start-up support they were accustomed to, before the sale of Dynatron, Inc. to the Lear Siegler Measurements Controls Corporation.
With a large customer base established, we used our years of instrumentation and system design experience to manufacture an improved line of the highest quality, replacement parts for Dynatron; opacity, oxygen, carbon monoxide, dilution extraction and data acquisition systems.
Research and development began in 1990 on development of the Phoenix Instrument, Model 1000 computer controlled dilution extraction system, OPAC20/20 green LED compliance opacity monitor, LED non-compliance opacity monitor, and DAS for CEMS and COMS. Systems are currently in operation around the United States.
