Thanks for visiting us at the Air Waste Management show and help making it a success. Phoenix Instruments Inc. is a leader in the field of advance technology opacity monitoring systems and CEMS (continuous emissions monitoring systems). Phoenix EPA compliance opacity monitors use a high intensity green LED light source. Non compliant LED light source opacity monitors are also available. All opacity systems are guaranteed to exceed all EPA opacity certification requirements.
Phoenix Instruments, Inc. opacity monitors help companies monitor the amount of visible emissions, smoke or opacity created during their combustion process. Opacity monitors, or continuous opacity monitoring systems (COMS ) are used most often to comply with EPA requirements. Opacity monitors used for compliance opacity monitoring must meet CFR 40, Part 60 Performance Specification 1 for opacity monitors. Compliance opacity systems are designed around the photopic response of the human eye and opacity is corrected for stack exit opacity so that the opacity that the instrument shows will match the opacity of the visual observer. Opacity monitors are manufactured by Phoenix Instruments for non-compliance opacity monitoring too. Opacity monitors that are for non compliant opacity measurement such as small package boilers are not required to meet the EPA design criteria for continuous opacity monitors. Phoenix Instruments, Inc. non-compliance opacity monitors use red LED technology for the light source eliminating problems found in undependable incandescent light source opacity monitors.
EPA COMPLIANT OPACITY MONITOR

The OPAC100-Series
opacity monitor is a red LED OPACITY PRODUCTS Opacity monitor data acquisition systems and multiple system combiners are available for all compliant opacity installations. Opacity monitor neutral density filter calibrations, service on all makes of CEMS and opacity are available. Replacement parts for Dynatron opacity and oxygen systems are available. DILUTION EXTRACTIVE CEM The Phoenix Instruments, Model 1000 Dilution Extractive System is an accurate and effective method of measuring stack gas emissions. Dilution probes have years of proven application reliability, and a low maintenance no moving parts design. The Model 1000 system processor allows for complete versatility in acquisition, processing, and distribution of data. DAS systems are available for all Phoenix CEMS. © 2000 Phoenix instruments Inc. |
